This place never seems to disappoint. The menu is always full of choices and you can never go wrong. Highly recommend taco Tuesdays, but expect it to be busy but always worth it. Usually can get a good seat at the bar with little waiting. And happy hour is always worthy of two margaritas. Cheers!!!

We visited on a Wednesday around 6 and were seated right away as a table of 2. The place was busy though. Our server was very busy but didn't miss a beat. She took great care of us. The food was delicious. We both got the chimichanga. Complimentary chips and salsa were great. The only complaint is the margaritas. I got the house margarita and my husband had the strawberry frozen. Neither of us felt like there was tequila in it. For $15 a piece it felt like a scam. I would come here again but order a beer in a bottle. PSA: if you want a delicious margarita with tequila in it go to Chapala in Ann Arbor.

The burritos are delicious as are the margaritas and chips and salsa. All made fresh. Our server was also really good even though it was quite busy.

My family and I went to Maiz for dinner last night and the food was fantastic! The food came so quickly and was the service was great. It was nice to find a spot with good food that we felt comfortable taking our kids.

Amazing food, the wait is normally 1 hr at peak time but worth the wait. Great atmosphere, great staff, food is always perfect. Prickly pear margarita is the best.

First stop after an 8 hour flight from Munich. We needed heat, fresh and flavor. Thankfully Maiz really hit the spot. Nice and easy crowd, with good service. We ordered way too much food but didn't care. We were so tired but Maiz was our oasis, refortified by tequila and tortillas, we were glad to be home.

Great Mexican restaurant in downtown Ypsi. Came here on a Sunday evening. Zero wait when we arrived. Lots of seating...can't recall if there's bar seating though. Either way, specialty margarita menu and other drinks available. Great menu with options for everyone. They even offer $5 mimosas on Sunday. My husband and I got the mix & match tacos; cool idea for those of us who can't decide. Vegan and GF options! Parking is street and a small overflow lot across the way behind some businesses. Casual attire and good prices

Happy Hour 9-11 1/2 apps and margaritas can't beat it. The chips are the best thing here super thin hot and crispy, they melt in your mouth. Everything is made fresh great flavors. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for really good food

Let me first start by saying how GREAT our server Justin was!!! He was personable, friendly, and engaging. He also helped answer a few questions we had about some of the menu items. The margaritas were delicious and the chips and salsa were on point. Nice colorful chips. The tacos, beans, all of the things were rather tasty. I'd definitely visit this place again. Also they have great happy hour options in case you just want to meet for a drink.
